  1. Thanks Klaus, with construction mark B I mean Znak Bodowlanym http://www.pcbc.gda.pl/i/znak_bud.gif
  2. It is very wide issue. What exactly do you want to know about this topic? Thank you all for your answers... (the english ones... ) I'd need to: clarify what is the 'B' mark (in polish znak boduwlany, isn't it?). define the difference between safety mark (znak bezpieczeństwa) B and the construction B mark http://www.pcbc.gda.pl/i/logo_b.jpg http://www.pcbc.gda.pl/i/znak_bud.gif which certificate does item on the ROZPORZĄDZENIE RADY MINISTRÓW z dnia 9 listopada 1999 r. list need(http://www.ciop.pl/5522.html) if a construction production isn't in that list, do I need for it TECHNICAL APPROVAL (aprobatą techniczną)? if so, is znak budowlany to certify compliance with this approval? what happened before may 1st 2004, and in the meantime between may 2004 and the official approbation of the EN 14351 for windows and pedestrian door CE marking
  3. Dear all, I'm studing the Polish Windows & Doors market during my Postgraduated Master Degree. Before May 2004 you were required to submit any construction products to get the safety mark B (ROZPORZĄDZENIE RADY MINISTRÓW z dnia 9 listopada 1999 r.) or technical approval if the products weren't in the Ministry list. During this period the EU commission, according to Council Directive 89/106/EEC is completing the European Standard prEN 14531: Windows and External Pedestrian Doors - Product Standard for CE marking and probably the "B" mark will be no more required. Unfortunately I'm facing a great lack of information about this certificate. Could you give me any help or references such as Adam Zawiszowski who wrote some interesting issues on this. Best Regard Dr S Savoldi AMIMechE Brescia Italy
